In short, it appears that remote displaying hello.py from Linux Mint 18.1 to Linux Mint 18 has problems,
possibly due to theme incompatibility.  More specifically, the window that appears has no label or buttons
or anything displayed; it's just a solid gray window.

Also, if we attempt to change the theme on a Linux Mint 18.1 system using lxappearance, that has similar-
if-not-identical problems too.
