drs-rewrite

This software is owned by The university of California, Irvine, and is not distributed under any version of the GPL. GPL is a fine series of licenses, but the owners of the software need it to be distributed under these terms.
drs-rewrite is a simple python script to handle informing people when a URL moves.

To install:

Download it (above)
Copy it into your cgi-bin directory
Make it executable
Add a line like:
- ErrorDocument 404 /cgi-bin/drs-rewrite
...to your httpd.conf or similar file.
Test by going to some URL's that used to work, some URL's that work currently, and some URL's that never did work
